 We are a growing intergenerational congregation with informal blended worship committed to creative excellance in biblical preaching, liturgy, and music.

 

 During the summer, July and August, worship moves to 9:30 AM at the Torsey Church (see direction below) with 7:00 PM  worship at the historic Jesse Lee Methodist Meeting House.  Open since 1795, it is the oldest Methodist house of worship open in the New England Annual Conference. It is located at Route 17 and Plains Road in East Readfield.

ON SUNDAY, AUGUST ALL WORSHIP WILL BE HELD AT THE JESSE LEE METHODIST MEETING HOUSE IN CELEBRATION OF READFIELD HERITAGE DAYS.                                          9:00am    HolyCommunion                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            9:30 9:30 worship from the 1964 hymnal and featuring Sunday School in the 1940s, 50s, and 60s   10:30-12:00 Open House with refreshments and historical information available,                                                                                     7:00pm traditional hymn sing with special guest Mark Leslie, author of Midnight Rider for the Morning Sun, about Francis Asbury

Summer Suppers are held in the cool lower level of the Torsey Church on July 5 and 19 and August 2, 16, and 30.

                                                       

Worship and Sunday School during the school year, September through June, is at 10am each Sunday.  We meet at the Torsey Memorial Church, Route 17 on the top of Kents Hill. Torsey Memorial is fully handicap accessible with a lift near the lower entry, and a family friendly room with sanctuary view and sound.
